Welcome to we are a mess rpg, a roleplay group about the Bristish show Skins. This roleplay group is an AU one that is set after series six. Just so every character can be available, we made it so all deaths never happened. That means Chris, Freddie, and Grace never died but it is up to the character's player to decide what happened then instead. Other major events such as Effy going mad and Mini having a baby are also up to the roleplayers. So what are you waiting for? Audition today!
Stay active, if you become inactive without warning for five days you will get an activity warning. By the seventh day if you do not respond or post something, your spot will be re-opened.
Stay literate, we want to keep this a literate RPG. That means capitalizing when needed, being grammatically correct, and spelling things correctly. We understand from time to time you may make mistakes, but keep them to a minimum.
No OOC drama, but IC drama is okay and makes things more exciting for readers to read. Everyone likes a little bit of drama.
Make sure to know how to spell your character’s name. It’s Franky not Frankie, McGuinness not McGuiness, Effy not Effie, etc. It’s really not good to use the wrong name for your own desired character.
This RPG contains smut, drugs, and profanity. If you are not comfortable with that, I suggest you not join so you’re not out of your own comfort zone.
If you must leave, please inform us rather than just deactivating your account. Trust me, mods don’t really like when that happens.
If you would like to double-up, it is up to the mods to see if you can be active with two characters. But they cannot be in the same generation.
Keep the dashboard uncluttered, that means cut off long chain posts and reblog links as text posts when interacting with another character or paraing.
Paras must be written in past tense in third person. (ie., She sat on the bench and waited for him.) Apps in first person will be declined automatically. (ie., I woke up)
Stay in character as much as possible. If you must have a conversation with someone OOC, please take it to ask.
Have paras as detailed as possible.
Do not alter your character’s personality completely, that means don’t make Effy all girly, Chris against drugs and partying, etc.
No godmodding, that means only write and control your character’s actions, not the character you’re paraing with’s actions as well.
